Why Dext is the best software for your expenses

Keeping track of your expenses is an important part of your bookkeeping process. If you don’t have the proof you can’t make the claim! This means you pay more money to the tax man, and we don’t want that, do we?

By using Dext software it ensures that receipts and invoices don’t get misplaced. Using Dext alongside Xero works really well as it encourages efficiency in your bookkeeping process. This then puts you in a better position to make important business decisions by giving you visibility at the touch of a button.

Without Dext our bookkeeping process would be missing a vital part of the jigsaw.

Here’s why we use Dext.

Paperfree - Dext is the perfect storage facility for all of your receipts and invoices. Capturing them on the go with the use of the mobile app means you will never lose a receipt again! We strongly encourage our clients to make use of the app and the dedicated inbox so that invoices can be sent straight from your emails into Dext. This also means that your work space is clean and tidy and even your wallet or glove box in your car! We do advise making sure that the receipts have pulled through to Dext OK before disposing of them.

Time management

No more last minute searching for missing paperwork! All of your receipts and invoices will be safely stored to the cloud and you will no longer have to spend hours searching, a huge time saver!

You can also upload multiple images at once and select whether they need to be uploaded as a combined document or separate (multiple). So much better than having to upload them separately, that could take you hours!

Real time data

As soon as you upload your receipts to Dext we can login and see them instantly. This means that we no longer have to chase you for missing paperwork.

Long White Cloud Accounting Ltd uses both Dext and Xero together as part of your bookkeeping package so you can be sure your expenses are safe with us!
